| Description Our client is a leading multi-disciplinary EPC services provider mainly involved in oil and gas projects around the Middle East. The company is expanding due to new project and is seeking to recruit for the following position in Oman - Commissioning and Shift Engineer (specialising in water treatment installation and operations). The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills and qualifications: • Degree/Diploma in mechanical or chemical engineering • Over 10 years experience in oil and gas projects • Experience of commissioning water treatment plants • Proven ability to assess site safety prior to engaging in commissioning activities and to coordinate work schedule with installation teams and other third parties. • Self-motivated and capable of working on their own initiative • Work well within a team and actively participate in achieving the team's targets • Good written and verbal communications skills • Able to organize, plan and monitor all aspects of the work • Demonstrates the ability to make quality decisions and judgments • Prepared to take the responsibility for developing other members of staff A competitive salary will be offered to the successful applicant dependent upon knowledge, skill level and experience.
