Associate Director, Architecture - Dynamic Practice based in Dubai

Our client is a leading architectural practice based in Dubai and they have an immediate requirement for an Associate level Architect with a strong design background to join their organisation.

They are not really looking for commercial architects/designers but more so designers with a high level of creative flair, design talent and exceptional creativity and innovation. The ideal candidates might be Harvard or Architectural Association trained professionals or indeed ex employees of the likes of companies such as OMA or Jean Nouvel Architects.  

The key for these roles is for the architects/designers not to have necessarily worked on high rise buildings or large scale commercial projects but to be someone who in general terms thinks and feels 'conceptually'. They ideally want people who are at PM or Associate level but whose work and portfolios are also both inspiring and beautiful. Projects they are working on currently include some very high profile master planning projects, some projects which are very much 'research led' as well as some more conceptual type designs for large scale master plans. It isn't just master plans they are working on but a broad cross section also of diverse projects across a number of different sectors.
